Tobias Måård, born in Stockholm in 1975, is an artist whose interest in subcultures of the late '80s and '90s laid the foundation for his artistic vision.

In the 2000s, Tobias began his creative journey as a musician and contributed to various musical projects, most notably as a member of the band [ingenting], which gained recognition with several albums. However, it was his passion for visual arts that eventually drew him back to painting.

Now fully dedicated to his craft, Tobias channels the energy and spirit of his formative years into his paintings. Exhibited both in his homeland, Sweden, and internationally, his artworks serve as a visual exploration of urban landscapes and the human experience within them.

He primarily uses acrylic paint and spray paint and experiments with various techniques to create abstract compositions.

Beyond painting, Tobias also explores video and soundscapes. His multidisciplinary approach adds depth and dimension to his work.

Tobias lives and works in Stockholm.
